In my work, chipboard represents a system of support or protection. an artist-in-residence at Thread. These paintings on recycled chipboards were influenced by the patterns and colors seen in female villagers' dresses in Sinthian. I was surrounded by saturated colors and patterns during my month-long residency in June 2022. I often use chipboard, the material typically used to support the paper in sketchbooks and drawing pads. In my work, chipboard signifies a system of support or protection.
