2012 as 96” x 96”, 2010 as 72” x 72” and 6” x 192”
A graphite grid is drawn on a wall, pins are pushed into the grid in even intervals, and ribbon is woven around the pins. Because this piece has been installed in unique locations, natural light and gallery light have been utilized depending on the venue, making each installation a singular experience. This image is from a 2012 installation at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, part of a month-long exhibition.
White had also been installed as part of the Governors Island Art Fair on Governors Island, New York, NY, and at the 2012 International Fiber Exhibition in Beijing, China.
