Thin Places

In Celtic culture, 'thin places' are locations where the boundary between the earth and the divine or spiritual is believed to be thin, allowing for spiritual experiences.
This piece was created while preparing for a residency at Carraig-na-gCat, an Albers Foundation's artist-in-residence program located in a traditional farmhouse near the fishing village of Glandore in West Cork, Ireland. I will be a resident there in June 2025.
