Good Trouble (Moss)
2020
graphite, watercolor
18 x 18 in

This piece is from a series created in response to the death of John Lewis, an American politician and civil rights activist who served in the United States House of Representatives. Lewis believed it was necessary to engage in "good trouble, necessary trouble." The shifting grid in the upper left corner signifies "good trouble," a productive disruption that challenges civilization's framework.
